"Overall good place to stay. Has everything inside. Location near city center."

7.0

Location is really good. House is big and bright (huge windows). Everything that is needed for living is here furniture or appliances wise. Backyard and veranda are lovely. Price is fair.

It could be cleaner. Plenty of stuff require to be renew - furniture, appliances, beds.

"Great place to stay."

10.0

Easy to collect the keys. The house was perfect for what we needed. Comfy and clean beds, clean and well stocked kitchen, bathrooms were clean and tidy. The lounge was a nice place to sit at night. Couldnt have asked for anything more. Enough parking for a van and a car outside.

Nothing. Great place to stay.

"Room for Improvement"

3.0

Lockbox easy to access and code was received prior to checking into the property. Property located within walking distance of amenities. Clothes washer and dryer was functional. Kitchen had basic equipment.

Property was not as neat as per online pictures. Dishwasher was not functioning and we had to wash all dishes by hand for the duration of the stay. Dishes were not clean upon check-in. Pots, pans and cooking utensils were not clean and were in a poor condition. Beddings did not appear to be fresh upon check-in. Towels were stained. Bathroom was satisfactory.

"Only really used the house to sleep in as we were at the race track in Thruxton every day"

Good communication from host , with detailed instructions

all was good, only issue we had was the shower hight was not able to be adjusted as it was broken. Informed host and said they would fix it, but as we were there was no time to get it done while we were there. Responded to text in < 30 minutes

"Lovely but tired"

7.0

Great convienient location with very close corner shop. Good size for a family to enable own rooms.

Property is rather tired - peeling wallpaper, chipped crockery, wobbly dining chairs, sofas are well used and uncomfortable. Generally just in need of some tlc. Nothing that spoilt our stay, but had the feel of student accommodation - i understand its used for corporate longer term lets and it shows.

"A trip home turned into a nightmare, in this dirty, dangerous, and poorly maintained home."

3.0

Keys were very accessible. The location is close to town and access to the main A303. It is a lovely area, the house has fallen into disrepair and needs to have some significant work done.

One front door key, one back door key, the path to the back door had broken glass on it, which wasn't notices until after being used by my 7-year-old. The cleanliness of the property was awful. The original plan was to rent the house for two weeks and allow my daughters to have friends stay (We moved out of Andover 2 years ago). That just want possible with the condition of the house and the furniture within. Broken/unsafe chairs, tall shelving units not tethered, stained carpets and furniture, dirty/sticky floors and sides, dog hairs on curtains, thick dust, and cobwebs across the house. Animal feces and broken glass in the garden, fence panes missing, an old shed in the garden that was falling over. A leak in the kitchen that had been present for a long time and had cause a musty smell, in the part that didn't smell of wet dog. One the first day I spent money on air fresheners. After contacting the property owners, the new property manager came out on day 3 and was very supportive of the issues, even offering to clean the house herself if they were unable to find a cleaning company to resolve the issues. The plumber was called twice, once to resolve the leak in the kitchen, the second was to address the rotten wastewater pipe from the shower/bath that was throwing water into the street from above the front door. A partial refund has been promised by the owner, but with no further information or attempts to contact me since the initial promise. It is obvious that this property has been left to exist as part of a portfolio and income stream, but without any attempts to keep it in a living standard.
