Casa Bella

The highlight of this apartment has to be the view, which is absolutely stunning! To be able to sit on the balcony and look over the lakes and mountains is pretty special. The pool area also provides the same stunning view. The apartment kitchen is very well equipped, with everything we needed to eat in when we wanted to. All the windows have electric shutters so you can sleep in absolute darkness which we enjoyed. The hostess, Daniela, is absolutely wonderful and speaks excellent English. From the point of booking she maintained good communication, providing reassurance that this was a genuine property that we had booked. She checked our arrival time with us a day before, then made contact shortly after we had landed to let us know at exactly what time (earlier than it had to be) we could access the apartment. She met us personally at the apartment to show us round and offer some tips for our stay. She checked in with us several times during the week and really helped us by arranging a doctor's appointment when my daughter developed an ear infection. We had a wonderful week exploring the area, with this fabulous apartment to return to each day.

The hill to reach the apartment is a challenge on foot! If you are fit and mobile it is entirely do-able with a very steep shortcut down many steps into the village. If you are less mobile you will need to use the car. Parking at the bottom is limited, so using the car can have its drawbacks. That said, we always found a space but we were not there in high season. There are a couple of shops in the village where you can buy the basics but you will need to drive to find a larger grocery store.

Een goed appartement op een mooie locatie. We hebben hier met ons gezin van 4 een uitstekend verblijf gehad. Het contact met Daniela (en haar zoon) was uitstekend. Bij vragen kregen we zeer snel reactie en werden problemen direct opgelost.

Geen tegenvallers. We hadden alleen last van mieren die soms naar binnen kwamen maar hier heeft de eigenaresse goed op gereageerd en ons voorzien van oplossingen.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Der Blick vom Balkon auf den Comer See war sehr schön. Der Pool hat genauso einen schönen Blick auf den See mit den Bergen. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich. Man hat seinen Stellplatz in der Garage. Alles ist sehr entspannt wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Daniela (the owner) was very kind and helpful during our stay. 😊 The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything needed. Not too far to reach Cadenabbia and Mennagio ferry ports for daily travels by car. And by the way, pizzas, which were recommended by Daniela (she works there), were absolutely amazing. If you stay there, you must try ! 😍

Only one minus, very noisy neighbours from upper apartment. But we fully understand that there's nothing with the owner. 😊

Гарне помешкання. Дуже привітна хозяйка, яка нас зустріла, все показала і росказала. Апартаменти знаходяться в новому житловому комплексі із закритою територією. Хороший закритий паркінг для великої машини. Сучасні апартаменти в дуже хорошому стані, нова кухня з усім необхідним обладнанням, хороша тераса з видом на озеро, комфортний санвузол та зручні кроваті.

Житловий комплекс знаходиться на горі. До набережної з барами і ресторанами треба спуститись пішки. Спуск займає приблизно 10 хвилин. Повертались наверх ми приблизно 15 хвилин. Але якщо підїхати на машині то це займе 2-3 хвилини. Для нас це не було проблемою, але для літніх людей йти пішки може бути трохи важко.

Great accomodation, great location and great host. Daniela welcomed us when we arrived and explained all ins and outs of the accomodation and things to do in Argegno. After that we (family of 5) spend 2 splendid weeks in Casa Bella near lake Como. Visiting nearby towns, Traveled the lake, did a city trip to Milan, hiked in the mountains, but also chilled near the pool that is part of the accomodation. All in all a perfect holiday in a perfect accomodation.

Just one thing that can be improved, which is the bathroom ceiling.
