Absolutely loved this place! I had such a great time staying at the Eco Fisherman’s Cottage — honestly one of the most special places I’ve ever stayed. The cottage has so much character and charm, and you can really feel the love that’s gone into keeping it true to its history. The location is amazing — right on the seafront in Arrieta, with beautiful views and the sound of the ocean day and night. It’s such a peaceful little fishing village, and everything you need is just a short walk away — a few lovely local restaurants, a small supermarket, and great spots to sit and watch the boats go by. The cottage itself is super cozy and well-equipped. The upstairs bedroom has stunning sea views. I loved the private courtyard, perfect for morning coffee. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The team at Lanzarote Retreats were super friendly and helpful, and I’m already planning to come back. Totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, authentic, seaside getaway.

The cottage is just stunning - it is beautifully decorated and has incredible views over the sea. It was spotlessly clean and on arrival we received a generous welcome pack including cava. The location is great for a selection of local restaurants and within walking distance of a family friendly beach and natural rock pools along the coast. There is a supermarket just down the road and a coffee shop, and although we rented a car for a couple of days to explore the island we could have quite happily spent the whole time in Arrieta...far enough away from the tourist resorts to be able to experience the real Lanzarote but everywhere easily reached within half an hour in the car. Our host was very helpful and gave us lots of advice on where to visit during our stay - always available if needed but otherwise left us to just enjoy our stay. We also took up the offer of visiting the finca that is owned by the same person as the cottage, and had a lovely day there using the pool and visiting the donkeys. It was a really memorable stay and ended too quickly - we live in Tenerife in quite a crowded area so the feeling of space and peace around us was absolute bliss...we will definitely return and would not hesitate to recommend to others.
