IEA home away from home everything you need. Quiet and peaceful. Chicken are your neighbour's. Lots to see and do in the area. Just beautiful!
Wish I stayed longer!
IEWe brought our own provisions. We dined out mostly. We enjoyed Deborah's warmth and friendliness and the peace and quiet the location offered. Friendly sheep an added bonus!

GBThe cottage and everything in it and around it were really good. Ross Port is a lovely place when the weather is nice, walk down the lane and all the way around the headland, great cycling on super quiet roads. There are quite a few nice places to go and we particularly enjoyed Rinroe Beach, Carrowteige loop walk and Blacksod. Plenty has been said about the chickens and pet sheep - all still there!
No wifi. There are no facilities (shop/pub/etc) in the village but there is a good shop and pub in Carrowteige and a sort of diner in Cornboy, so you don't have to go all the way into Bellmullet (good Chinese eat in restaurant!) or Bangor Erris for stuff.

IEEverything. We stayed at bungalow for second time and we are planning to come back.
IEThe Location is beautiful. Its rural and very quiet. Our daughter loved the chickens in the adjacent field and the sheep that used to wonder into the garden. If it's peace and quite your after then it's ideal. The surrounding areas are stunning so it's a really good base.
The downside is that there isn't a shop for miles. Belmullet is the nearest town it's about 25km away from the house. The mattresses could really do to be replaced. The bigger room you can feel the springs coming through. The cooker could do to be replaced also. I wish there was a big comfy armchair but I think that's just my preference. A press to put groceries away would be good. All the presses were used for plates, cups etc.Obviously there is no WiFi so this might not suit alot of people. I never met the host. I think it would be more personable if she just popped in to say hi. However she did respond very efficiently if I texted.
IEAmazingly cozy cottage in a small seaside village. The host, Deborah, is extremely supportive and ready to help with any issues. Great place to immerse in a calm rural life and to explore beautiful attractions nearby.
