View, two nice bedrooms, everything needed in kitchen

Would have been nice with something to cover the hole over the stair for more child friendly

Positiv - The hosts were very helpful and kind, gave us many tips and came promptly when a problem had occurred. - stunning sight over the bay of Leynar, to Vagar and Koltur - livingroom is spacious and bright with lovely furniture, nice places for relaxing and nostalgic decoration - modern kitchen - washing machine - bed linen and towels are provided

Negativ - Access to the cabin only via a winding, extremely steep and winding small road which is partly graveled and slippery after rain. There is no possibility to drive up by car or park the car near the cabin; the only parking space is a place at the side of the main road from where you have to carry every piece of luggage up to the cabin (and down again) and of course walk every day for a route of 170 metres. This is a very unfortunate point which should be declared more clearly in the description. - The underfloor heating in the bathroom is not really sufficient because of the concrete flooring and the fact that the bathroom is in the basement of the house. The owner set the heating system on a higher level so it got warmer for the last days in the cabin. - See above, the bathroom in the cellar which has very steep stairs from which falling down is possible. You also have to mind your head at the base of the stairs and at the enctrance into the bathroom because of a movable step there. - The sleeping room is very small and the mattress is worn down and should be changed. - A mirror and some more hooks in the bathroom are absolutely necessary. - The windows are warped and hard to open, this gets better when opening them daily. Attention: you can only open the window in the kitchen and in the sleeping room for a small gap. Longer roll-down curtains would be nice. - Some sockets and lamps were not working.

La casa y las vistas, espectaculares. Muy acogedora y se disfruta mucho del paisaje desde su interior. Muy buena ubicación para visitar lo principal de las islas.

No le pongo un 10 porque le faltaban pequeños detalles que para un casa de ese nivel debería tener. No sé si es porque quien gestiona el alquiler es una empresa y no el propietario directamente. Por ejemplo, el baño sin espejo, no hay colador para pasta, la casa no tiene la numeración en el exterior con lo que dificulta localizarla y no recibes indicaciones claras de donde aparcar.

L’emplacement est parfait pour les excursions dans les îles Féroé, la vue est incroyable, la plage, toute proche est très belle, le cottage a un charme fou.

Quelques détails auraient pu rendre l’expérience encore meilleure : la lumière du plafond et une lampe de chevet qui ne fonctionnent plus dans la chambre, certaines fenêtres, notamment au premier étage, qui ne s’ouvrent pas à cause de la peinture extérieure qui a figé les ouvertures, quelques taches sur les coussins d’ornement, et le rideau de douche à changer. J’ai notifié le service nettoyage de ces désagréments, en espérant qu’ils soient pris en compte pour les prochains voyageurs. 

Uitzicht is prachtig.

Er staat 100m easy walk. I feite is het 300m zo stijl dat auto niet omhoog kan. Niet te doen voor mensen 70 . Geen huis nummer dus niet te vinden. Geen trap maar ladder naar badkamer/wc. Onveilig. Lampen kapot. Smerig dekbed met vlekken. Ramen kunnen niet open dus met zon werd T plus 30.

Location, location, location - stunning location and view from the cottage - halfway between the airport and Torshavn - quiet and peaceful rural surroundings (it's an uphill walk from the car park though, just be aware)

Run down and in need of a deep clean - if something is broken, fix it or bin it! (lamp in bedroom, coat hooks, kettle with age-old rust at the bottom, windows fused together with their frames, etc) - if something is filthy, chuck it in the washing machine (shower curtain growing mould, random hairs and stains on sheets and pillow cases, etc) - get the boiler checked out as the metal casing makes an almighty noise when it is on

Spacious and airy first floor with great views. Well equipped. Quiet. Easy access to a nearby hiking trail.

Property was not easy to find as the road sign is not easily visible from the "main" road and there was no number on the property. There was no access by car which meant carrying suitcases up a steep (~ 100m?) access path - not really suitable for anyone who has mobility issues.

Amazing location, stunning views and convenient access to all parts of the faroes. Hiking trails direct from house. Cosy interior with practical spaces eg for washing and drying clothes.

Not possible to park/drive next to property and access is by steep road/path. Difficult to locate property when arriving late at night due to poor signage of house number, and listing photos did not show entry point.
