Everything went fine, our host was really helpful with all the requests we had. The check in and out was simple.

You get one floor in a house with two bedrooms, a living room, small kitchen and a dining area, one bathroom with a toilet. The house is located in a quiet area that is above lake Como, so you can actually see the lake from some of the windows. The furnishing in the house is nice with all necessary things, in my opinion. It's probably most convenient to arrive here with a car. The car is parked in front in a small yard that has an automatic portal door. In addition there are some small green areas around the house, so if staying longer with children they could probably play there a bit. There are some shops with food and other useful items and restaurants nearby, even if the area is not touristy and is quiet. We didn't do much cooking as we stayed for one night only but there is a gas stove that works well. You get the keys from a box with a code when you arrive, so we never met the host in person. There are extensive instructions about different things in the house and things to visit in the area.

One thing was that the weather was getting colder already and the house didn't have the heating turned on. The owner explained that the local rules do not allow to turn it on until late October. Overall, was not a big problem for us, the temperature was not so low inside but we noticed it. The manual for the house explained that the power consumed at once is limited, otherwise the fuse for the house would turn off, so I guess electric heating is not a great option.

Location excellent, close to 3 restaurants, 2 mins walk! Quiet location though. Very secure. Excellent 1st floor apartment, high ceilings and very roomy. There is nothing to fault. Trust your car GPS to get there! :-)
