Casa Dos Azulejos - Lapa

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The host was really helpful. All the facilities worked as expected. I loved the balcony. The restaurants close by looked really appealing although we headed into town for most evenings for more choice and liveliness.

There was only one bathroom. One very large room and 2 smaller ones didn't really match our party's needs equally. The room above (with wooden floors) were noisy. It wasn't close to town. Steep stairs wouldn't suit some guests.

Location, decor, friendliness of person who met us, comfort of the accommodation.

It couldn't be helped, I suppose, but the downstairs neighbour's children got up a bit early in the morning for us 😆. Hopefully we didn't disturb them too much.

Perfect location, lovely hosts. Never a problem if we needed anything.

Nothing that I didn’t like

This is a very well maintained apartment with hosts that cater to your every need. They organised our arrival and departure transfers both of which were excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to visitors coming to Lisbon.

Very steep stair access which is to be expected in the beautiful old buildings of Lisbon. Definitely not a criticism but worth keeping in mind for older people or those with mobility issues.

The apartment is in a great location, awsome delicatesant style supermarket a short walk, several restaurants very close, tram goes past door with stop just on corner, can easily walk into waterfront area etc. would definetly stay here again

steps a little steep, but ok, you get that with a character building built in a previous era, one bedroom had no window so maybe suitable for 4 people max

Spacious apartment in an historic building at a pretty quiet, yet central location from where you walk in approx. 15 min to the old town of Lisbon. Apartment is well equipped and stylishly decorated. The reception by the host (Bernardo in our case) was very smooth and friendly.

An extra bathroom would have been nice (f.e. in the master bedroom), since one shower, wash bin and toilet is actually too little in relation to the capacity of the apartment. Though I realise possibilities are probably limited in an historic building like this.

Beautifully decorated, clean, well located. Very comfortable bed!

Thin walls. Could hear neighbors very easily.
