Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit im Casa Gialla! Dario ist ein so sympathischer und lieber Gastgeber, der sich niemals aufdrängt, aber da ist, wenn man eine Frage hat oder plaudern möchte. Auch unsere Hündin hat sich "pudelwohl" gefühlt und war immer gern gesehen. Das Apartment ist hell und schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles, da was man braucht. Der Blick vom schmalen Balkon auf den Iseo-See ist herrlich. Auf der weiteren Terrasse am Haus sitzt man schön schattig und kann ebenfalls auf den See schauen. Wir waren fünf Tage da und haben unser Auto nicht einmal bewegt. Die Stufen nach Marone hinunter laufen sich gut und wir haben sie manchmal auch mehrfach am Tag genommen. Von Marone aus kommt man sehr gut mit der Fähre oder mit dem kostengünstigen Zug in die umliegenden Orte. In Marone selbst gibt es schöne Badestellen, einige Cafés und Restaurants, einen Supermarkt. Absolute Empfehlung!

Appartement met een fantastisch uitzicht over het meer. Host Dario (en zijn vrouw) waren erg vriendelijk en zeer aanspreekbaar. De trappen om het huisje te bereiken zijn een uitdaging, maar dragen bij tot de charme. Ideale uitvalsbasis om de regio te ontdekken. Treinstation te voet te bereiken. Niet twijfelen.

De bedden hebben misschien wat modernisering nodig. Vooral het zetelbed piepte en kraakte een beetje teveel.

Was für ein traumhafter Urlaub! Der Vermieter nahm uns auf dem Parkplatz freundlich in Empfang und zeigte uns die Ferienwohnung. In Englisch und Italienisch konnten wir uns mit ihm sehr gut verständigen. Er war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und wir konnten uns jederzeit bei Fragen an ihn wenden. Die Ferienwohnung in diesem schönen Haus war sauber, ordentlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Von der Terrasse aus, hatten wir einen traumhaften Blick auf den See. Nach unseren Tagesausflügen haben wir hier den Abend beim Sonnenuntergang ausklingen lassen. Wir werden diesen Urlaub auf jeden Fall wiederholen. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Zeit!

Mooi appartement met prachtig uitzicht op het Iseomeer. Airco, fijne badkamer, beddengoed, handdoeken. Lopend stond je binnen 10 minuten bij de bakker en supermarkt. Wel via 333 traptreden naar beneden en daarna weer omhoog maar heerlijk begin van de dag om vers brood te gaan halen. En ideaal dat Marone een treinverbinding heeft. In Marone zit ook een fijn restaurantbaan het water La Dama sul lago.

Op zich niets. Alleen de electrische kookplaat in keuken had maar plek voor 2 pannen en deed er lang over om water te koken.

The view and decor made the accommodation a delight. The air conditioning was a lovely relief in the warm afternoons. Dairo was a such a wonderful host.

The only challenge was the climb to the accomodation with cases. We were visiting from Australia so luggage was large. Something to be aware of but the view was so worth it!

The views from the balcony were fantastic. The heaters worked well to warm the property in the cooler evenings.

Quiet,peaceful location with a stunning view of the lake.As we had use of a rental car it was ideally situated to visit Como,Garda and Bergamo.The property was beautifully furnished with the owner clearly having an exceptional eye for detail retaining that authentic rustic style.The owner was a perfect host being on hand to give advice and recommendations.We fully recommend this property and hope to return soon.

A really nice place to spend your holiday and visit the environment of Lago d'Iseo. The yellow house is beautiful on the inside and the view from the balcony is great! Also, host Dario is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay! There are stairs (+/- 300) to the lakeside so you can easily visit the beach of Marone or the supermarket. The way up is a more challenging then down but the view from CasaGialla is all worth it 👌

A charming apartment with a balcony and terraces - all of which offer superb views of Lake Iseo and Monte Isola - run by a very friendly and helpful host Dario who lives next door. Marone is a good starting point for hiking, climbing, cycling and day trips to cities such as Iseo, Brescia or Bergamo by train (and so much more). There is free parking just a few stairs away from the house. From the house, you can easily walk to the train station, supermarket, bakery and a few nice cafes and restaurants via a series of beautiful stairs that take you down to the town and lakeside. Dario’s recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area were spot on and contributed to our fantastic stay - thank you for hosting us, we had a fantastic time!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s a beautiful, cool apartment with incredible views over the lake. Dario, the owner, is very helpful and friendly - he made us feel really welcome. We didn’t have a car, so the 300+ steps up to the apartment were quite daunting at first, but we soon got used to it - and it’s worth it for the views. Marone is one of the quieter villages around the lake, but there’s still plenty to do, and it’s pretty easy to get to other places once you’ve figured out the ferry and train timetables. If you have bikes, the cycle north to Pisogne is flat, mostly car free, very scenic, and has cafes and bathing spots en route. Dario very kindly let us use his bikes one day. If you carry on up the steps past the apartment you can walk all the way up to the village of Zone, along an ancient track. From there you can climb to the top of Trentapassi. It’s a steep 4.5hr 10 mile hike from the apartment and back, so leave early to beat the sun.
