LAMIA MATERA 11

The location is perfect to tour the Sassi, yet convenient to visit newer sections of matera. We walked to dinner every night after parking our car in the private garage one block away. Benedetta and Eustachio are perfect hosts who helped us park the car and to get luggage to the home. The apartment was larger than we needed, but we enjoyed the extra space. The home is even lovelier in person than in the photos! It was renovated with creativity, and with the thought of making it very lovely and comfortable for guests. We were even supplied with boxes of Kleenex, which is very rare anywhere in Europe, as well as screens on the doors and windows! I highly recommend staying in this home!!

Meilleur emplacement de la ville ! Vue exceptionnelle. Les hôtes ont pris soin de rénover l’appartement du grand papa avec grand soin et bon goût avec un architecte. Le résultat est magnifique.

Rien tout était absolument parfait . Eustachio et son épouse ont été des hôtes d’exception. Un frigidaire plein pour le déjeuner avec aussi plein de pasticci. Ils sont même retournés chercher du yogourt pour nous. Ils nous ont donné plein de proposition de resto et de visite à Matera. Un garage est disponible ce qui a grandement simplifié l’arrivée. En fait, ce séjour à Matera est définitivement le point fort du voyage. Nous avons vécu dans un appartement de rêve : vue exceptionnelle et paysage magnifique, appartement de haut standing comme un hôtel 5 étoiles neufs et au goût du jour ,Lits extrêmement confortables avec literie propre et de bon goût, hôtes toppissimes au petits soins. On ne peut que chaudement recommander ce lieu. Vous faites une grosse erreur si vous n’y aller pas et vraiment dommage si non disponible lors de votre séjour à Matera

Tutto! Casa moderna, pulitissima e molto curata nei dettagli. Posizione ottima per visitare Matera, ambienti luminosi e molto confortevoli. Splendida la vista sui Sassi. Ottima comunicazione e accoglienza da parte del proprietario.

Everything. The presentation was oustanding . The amenities excellent and our hosts exceptional . In 15 yrs of travel we have only given 10 out of 10 to one other place.....the london savoy

Prachtig appartement van alle gemakken voorzien.Ideale plek voor een bezoek aan Matera.Ontzettend aardige eigenaren die je met alles willen helpen. Geweldige ontvangst met een heerlijk ontbijt. Absolute aanrader.

Nous avons tout aimé dans ce logement : - Nous avons été accueillis par les 2 propriétaires (c’est quand même autre chose que les boites à clés !) et de plus le contact a été chaleureux. Ils sont vraiment très gentils et attentionnés. - Le logement est vraiment magnifique, au moins aussi beau que sur les photos de l’annonce. La décoration est vraiment top, très belle. Tout a été conçu avec soin et attention. - Les matériaux sont de belle qualité. - Le petit-déjeuner est très complet et copieux avec des produits frais salés et sucrés, des fruits, des confitures, etc.

Wow, actually there isn't a thing we didn't like about this place. Everything was just perfect. I was very surprised and my expectations were esxceeded many times. One of the most important things for us when we travel is being able to control the temperature in our stay and have it set as per our preference. In Lamia Matera 11 that was very easy to do and we did appreciate it a lot. The views from the bedrooms are just amazing. You feel like you are at the edge of a mountain while observing different birds while they fly around and go on with their lifes. The bed in our main bedroom was very comfortable and the bathtub in the personal bathroom next to it was wonderful. Spacious for two and letting you enjoy the same amazing view. The dining and kitchen area is big and had everything you need. The design of the place if also great. Good colours and even better choices of decorations. There is a reading are on the last floor where you are sitted on a glass floor just right above the dining table. If you are traveling with company, you have three different rooms available in the place. Also, there is a PlayStation 2 available which gave me a lot of nostalgia. We didn't have the time to use it but I appreciate the fact that it was available.

This property is right on the edge of the Sassi and we had no problem navigating thru the Sassi. The decor is beautiful and very comfortable. Eustachio and his wife were awesome hosts. They helped us find parking as the property is located in a residential ZTL zone. He also provided us with recommendations for dining and where to find groceries. There was a stunning view out the back of the gorge. The bathrooms were extremely roomy with plenty of towels and toiletries and lovely decor. They supplied an incredible array of snacks both savory and sweet. There are no stairs into the unit and the other floors inside are accessible by easy to walk stairs.
