Lovely clean place in the centre of the Sasso Caveoso. Lovely hosts who gave us a lovely introduction and then dropped us to bus station on departure

One bedroom just has a curtain but due to nature of property this can’t be helped and it is not too inconvenient. Otherwise all good

Casa Contini exceeded all of our expectations! Nestled in the historic center of Matera, the location couldn’t have been better. We were just steps away from the stunning Sassi and many of the city's best restaurants and attractions. And the home was just so special. An experience you won't find anywhere else. What really made our stay exceptional were the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, from the moment we arrived until the day we left. Their hospitality was truly unmatched— and were always available for any questions we had. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel like we were staying with family. The room was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable. And the decoration really amazing. Matera is an extraordinary city, and staying at Casa Contini with such wonderful hosts made the experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

Extremely friendly host and always available to help. Typical house located in the traditional neighborhoods of Matera, and in a short walking distance to some of the most iconic places of this town. House with all amenities, and very cosy and comfortable. I really recommend the stay in this house, if you are planning a visit to wonderful Matera.

Everything was perfect. We are very grateful our host for helping us with parking in Matera. The apartment is really authentic, but in spite of that you have everything you need inside. Even our teenager sun was impressed 🙂
