Marvellously rural location with great views but still convenient for Hexham. Large well equipped kitchen and dining area with plenty of space for a large group. Very spacious accommodation, huge number of books and lovely cosy sitting room with a wood burner and a piano. Very spacious master bedroom with walk in dressing room.

Dishwasher was not great and we found some cooking utensils and crockery that were not very clean.

Spacious, comfortable house with lovely views. Three generations enjoyed a great weekend at Shellbraes.
