"Sightseeing good but not happy with accomodation"

Location quiet

Settee was TOO soft so hardly sat on it but dining chairs were wooden so not comfortable for long! Thought steps into bathroom were not good for elderly people, which we were. Ants on dining table even when no food! Not enough toilet paper so acquired some from a hotel! It would have been good to have a welcome pack of some sort which we've had on previous lettinngs. Landing light did not work.

"Disappointing- wouldn’t recommend"

The building itself was pleasant and roomy and the owner was kind enough to let us drop off our bags early.

It was not fully cleaned upon arrival. The hoovering has not been done and a bin wasn’t emptied.Furthermore there was an ant infestation on the kitchen. When I reported these issues to the owner she was completely unapologetic and just referred me to 1) ant power in the sink (like it was our problem to take care of the issue ) 2) housekeeping. When I contacted housekeeping, Roxanne was apologetic, but did nothing in the end to resolve any of these issues. We were offered a bottle of wine, but as a non drinker travelling by train we declined as I couldn’t carry it. No alternative was offered.

"A lovey stay in a comfortable and quiet house close to the Chester city centre"

A really nice terraced house. Close to a canal and the city centre. Good shops near by. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very comfortable and good value. The street was quiet. You could park outside to unload or load your luggage and then there was a large car part a five minute walk away.

Lovely place to stay, within close walking distance of Chester town centre. Clean, tidy accommodation with everything you may need for a short stay. We have stayed here before and am definitely planning on staying again next year.
