Clarens on Collett

The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and clean. It has a nice view of the mountains. Having stayed in Clarens several times, this is easily now my favourite place to stay.

The urban road to get there is not paved and not in good condition, as with most in Clarens.

Amazing hosts who went out of their way to make our stay - and entire trip - amazing.

The accommodation and location was excellent. Our host Mandy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Even though the suite we booked did not have a washing machine, Mandy offered to take care of our laundry for us. Since we were staying for a week this was highly appreciated!

The accommodation and the view are fantastic.

The property location is displayed incorrectly on the Booking.com map. We were booking this place 6 months in advance for the Clarens Beer festival, and our non-negotiable was a place on the Main road which is tarred up to Collect road (we visited Clarens before). We knew that we will walk to the festival and back during the 2 days, that is why we were looking for a place on the Main road. And the accommodation on the junction of Main and Collet seemed to be perfect. However, when we arrived at the Clarens, we discovered that the accommodation is located in the mountains and accessible by the gravel road. The town was fully booked so we couldn't change anything and tried to enjoy our stay at its fullest, though we still were wondering how did we managed to book the place in the wrong location. And once we returned - I looked at Booking.com and understood what had happened. There is a mistake on the map. For our occasion, it was a big deal.

This accomodation is excellent. It is well equiped and the hosts are lovely. It is a quiet place but still nice and close to town.
