Lovely cottage, great views

No lock on bathroom door. Being a group of 3x retired couples, we found this a bit disconcerting.

The house is beautifully furnished and we love it.

Beautiful decoration and the staff were prompt in getting the shower head fixed for us.

We would have liked more practical written advice on the oven, microwave and TV. There was no oil as stated in the information and for walkers it was a fair distance from the main part of town. No hanging space apart from the back of the door.

The view was fantastic, the rooms were beautifully furnished.

It appeared there was no ground fault interupter (gfi) on the outlet on the wall behind the draining boardwhich means a risk of shorting the system should water hit it. We were unable to heat the lounge in the morning. Couldn’t get the heating to work. Would have appreciated clear instructions.

Excellent location and the view from the bedrooms. Deck and outdoor furniture were excellent for morning tea. Kitchen and living are very convenient with plenty of natural sky light.

Everything was excellent.

Location for us was excellent, close to the town, near relatives and actually a lot to do from Oamura, so it made an excellent base.
