It was in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of amenities, lovely pub. Lots of room to park. A safe enclosed rear area for my little dog. Great communication with the owner. Very spacious.

A minor issue which was mentioned in previous reviews so I went well prepared, could do with a few more kitchen items, bigger saucepan, frying pan, dishcloth… nothing too taxing, I took mine because I knew beforehand. Everything else was fine.

Location, cleanliness

Lovely location, excellent heating system, we arrived in December during a storm, the house was nice and warm.

I think a few new kitchen utensils would be nice. Maybe some wooden spatulas or spoons, then the saucepans would not be so scratched. Otherwise, I was very happy with the cottage.

We were purely interested in the location, which did not disappoint. The view from the ftont of the house is amazing and the local walks are out of this world, if you are into hiking. It did the job for our two day break.

There were no outdoor areas to use, despite being advertised as dog friendly. It was a bit of a "building site" and looking back at reviews, it seems this work has been ongoing since last year. I think once completed it will be amazing. The house itself was basic but we didn't expect anything fancy and the price reflected the standard.
