"Great place with a super host"

Peter is the best host. Everything you could ever ask for is in this unit. The area is so quaint and the restaurants superb. Highly recommended

"A very comfortable real Portuguese house.."

The location and it was v well stocked…. Anything you could need was provided

We found the top terrace a staircase too much for us, so just used the lower one…. Which was fine..

This was an excellent house to stay. Location facilities and Peter is an amazing host. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property. It definitely is a home from home with an amazing terrace to lie in the sun.

"A beautiful Olhaoan house in a fabulous location."

This house is simply gorgeous. It is a traditional house on a number of floors with two outside terraces, one being on the roof. It is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well equipped. The location is 5 minutes to the sea front, shops, fabulous market and the ferry port as well as many restaurants and bars. Peter is delightful and greeted us with a wealth of knowledge and a lovely welcome, that included wine and a traditional baked item. He even came to bid us goodbye at the edge of the of our stay. The highlight of the stay was sitting on the roof to take in the sunshine or watch the sun rise over the buildings and the sea.

Absolutely nothing at all. Worthy of note are the almost 60 steps from ground floor to bedrooms and to the roof. It wasn’t something we didn’t like but it is to be noted.

"We loved it .......happy memories ."

It is a lovely old Casa, a couple of streets back from the sea and close to pretty much everything you needed for bars and restaurants etc , ferries to the beach , the local market , supermarket and anything else you can think of . Tastefully decorated and very well equipped , Hosts thought of pretty much anything and everything . The roof terrace was lovely and a warm breeze most of the time in September so we spent many a relaxing time relaxing there and drinking very reasonably priced wines .....

we didn't really dislike anything , though there are lots of stairs to encounter but im sure we shed pounds so a win win . The hosts were lovely people who were very helpful regarding advice or questions regarding the town and local area ........ they even picked us up from the Station ..
