La piccola Posta di Cortona

Atmosphere of the place, even entrance close to the road was charming. The host responded very quickly and provided all info we asked for. Great guidence info to the propoerty. It was clean, ready on time. Bottles of cold water in the fridge. We used them when we went to see the Cortona city after arrival (very usefull- it was a hot day). We loved everything about the place.

Sleeping on a sofa bed was a little bit less confortable so I am giving only 9 for comfort :).

The little cottage was a marvelous edition to our trip. It was very spacious. We had constant contact with the owner, eventhough we didn't meet in person for the entire stay. The owner was very helpful and accomodating. I do recommend this place.

The door to get in and out of the cottage is by the road with no sidewalk. You do need a car to travel to and from this location. There was a tiny problem with ants in the kitchen but nothing really to bother.

Great location, just a few minutes drive to the free parking of Cortona. The house has all the basic things you need and is very clean. Parking space next to the house.

It is a small compact cozy house (one bedroom, bathroom, small living room and kitchen). It has all you need for your stay. As we arrived on Sunday and there wasn't buses running that day, the owner kindly offered to pick us up and take us to the property.

The place is outside and far from Cortona Town. It is a must to rent a car from Florence (or any other big city) or hire a local driver in advance. If you try to get it when you arrive in town it is almost impossible. So we had to walk. Cortona is on the top of a hill at a 25 min walking up. It exhausting under the summer sun. I recommend this place only if you have a car.
