Really good condition and spotlessly clean Ideal location with small terrace overlooking the sea in which swimming was possible at high tide The accommodation was well equipped with everything needed for cooking and even beach parasol and swimming equipment A few minutes walk along the front to the small port town from which the Small ferries went to the island Good communication with the host’s representative Daniel Washing machine and comfortable beds provided with good bedding

There was nothing to complain about!

Orzola is a very quiet small town on Lanzarote, and we especially enjoyed that. The appartment is very well equipped and we didn't miss anything. The beds are really comfortable and even I slept very well here. There is a small supermarket, that is open every day, within walking distance, which was very convenient to get fresh bread in the morning.

Great value for money, the flat is spatious and the view is amazing.

Casa El Charco is without doubt, the loveliest apartment I have ever stayed in. It was equipped with absolutely everything we needed, and more. The view from the apartment is completely beautiful and it is incredibly peaceful there. It's not possible for cars to pass in front of the apartment (the coast side), and there are very few pedestrians; so it was a very relaxing stay. I took my 94 year old father and although he walks with a stick, he managed the short walk to the centre of Orzola where there are some lovely restaurants and boats to the island of Graciosa. We hired a car at the airport and the drive up to the apartment took about 45 minutes. I think that if you just want a relaxing holiday to sit in the sun and eat in nice restaurants, if would be perfectly feasible to take the bus from the airport to Orzola. However, having the car enabled us to visit the lovely town of Haria, the Jardín de Cactus, Timanfaya National Park and Mirador del Río. I hired the car via Top Car and highly recommend them. It was the easiest car hire ever and surprisingly inexpensive. I definitely recommend this beautiful apartment and think it would be particularly nice for very young children, as the small beach in front of the apartment seemed very safe with incredibly clear and shallow water. I hope to return one day with my grandchildren. Thank you, Daniel, for a wonderful stay!

Honestly, I have no complaints at all, I completely loved Casa El Charco! If, like me, you're not used to hire cars and driving on the right side of the road in a left hand drive car - it may be worth mentioning that whilst you're concentrating on driving on the legal side of the road etc.. your satnav will take you to the rear of the house (the side not located next to the coast) and that is where the initial door entry is located. I found it confusing for a couple of minutes, as I was looking for the apartment I had seen in the photos, but did not recognize the rear of the house that the satnav took me to. This is not a complaint at all, but perhaps being aware will save a little confusion. It was possible to park the car right next to the back door too, which was great.
