Casa Emblemática Los Oliva

Das Haus ist riesig und voll ausgestattet. Sehr passend zu der historischen Stadt Galdar. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns sogar Wein, Käse und einige andere Köstlichkeiten hingestellt. Geschirr etc. ist außerdem auch ausreichend vorhanden. Der Ort bietet außerdem direkt fußläufig alles: Restaurants, Cafes, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Perfekt. Nur das Wetter ist im Süden der Insel deutlich besser.

Leider konnten wir die tollen Terrassen nicht nutzen, das Wetter war zu schlecht.

Faltaba un baño en la habitación de arriba. Bueno y el tiempo nos llovió un poco y por las noches hacia un poco frio.

Great hosts (very pleasant and helpful, have already set up mini info point inside the house like maps and contacts of restaurants and local shops offering canarian goods), clean house, two outside terraces, interior decoration is beautiful, many additional contents (board games, books..), excellent location in the old town of Galdar. Recommended 10/10!!

Grate place!

Great location in the historical centre of Galdar, short drive to Las Palmas by car. The place itself has a unique atmosphere of an authentic Canarian town residence. Very spacious and nicely decorated. The hosts, Oliver and Ruth are very friendly and hospitable. Knowing that we arrive late, they even left us a welcome package of cheese, fruit and wine! The house had everything that we ever needed - cutlery, kitchenware, equipment etc. We had a wonderful stay at Los Oliva Residence. Thank you, Oliver and Ruth!

The only minor complain would be a faint smell of mould in one of the rooms. Taking into account that it is an old, historic house, it is not surprising. It was not bothering us much and it was clear that the owners are trying to deal with this problem. Besides, the place has so many rooms and beds to choose from, that you can just select a different one.
