Location was perfect for access to local towns, beaches and take aways. Comfy home from home. Safe, secure house and great home comforts in the house. Air fryer, BBQ.... Local takeaways.

Just to be aware of low ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms. Okay if you are shorter.

The location is so peaceful and quiet, close to shops and fully equipped for self catering, absolutely loved our stay. Close to the mountain trails so perfect for our hike. Gorgeous property.

We had a wonderful stay in Cranfield Cottage. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Upon arrival we found a very generous welcome basket, and the rooms were warm and cosy. The decor is very tasteful and everything is in as-new condition, even down to the crockery! There are two sizeable bathrooms; one of which has a gorgeous free-standing bathtub, perfect for relaxing in, after a Winter's day exploring the Mournes and its surroundings. The location of Cranfield Cottage is quite remote, and you would definitely need a car to get anywhere (shops/restaurants etc.). However, the views from the cottage are gorgeous, comprising sea, mountains and fields. It would likely feel less isolated in the Summer months, being situated a stone's throw from a very beautiful mobile home park. Incidentally, during our stay, the gate to the caravan park was open until 6pm, which allowed us direct access to the beach on foot.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like... one would have to be very nit-picky to find fault with this lovely accommodation. We will be back for sure, but during the warmer season!
