+ a unique place with a beautiful view. + the location is very good. + the bus stop is a few minutes away, so you can easily explore the area without a car. + close to the market. + the apartment is well-kept and clean and has everything you need inside. + there are no words to describe how welcomed we felt: Just say thank you for this place and amazing neighbor who brought us toast bread❤️❤️❤️

"A great place to stay in an ideal hiking and biking area with a very nice host."

Proaza is perfectly located if you want to hike or bike the Senda del Oso, a previous train embankment where the rails were taken away. The casita is in the second row of houses, but there is very few traffic in the village at night anyhow. When we stayed, it was absolutely quiet. The casita was fully equipped, clean and with comfortable beds. It has two bathrooms with showers, all working very well. The whole house seems to have been recently renovated and looks new. Heating is floor heating, which is efficient and heats up fast. If you are looking for a digital detox, you find it here: no TV, no WLAN - on purpose. Check-in was easy, as Celia, who is a great host, met us at the house at the agreed time. She is a lively and friendly person who gave us lots of recommendations what to do, where to go and where to dine. Proaza has various bars and restaurants, a supermarket and even a butcher. So you have all options.

Really nothing to complain, all was perfect for us. If you do not need a digital detox, but rather are a digital and media maniac, you might miss TV and WLAN. We did not.
