lovely decor, nice location, very comfortable stay

heating could have been a touch hotter

The place was basically clean and cosy, warm and comfortable, however did have a few issues which meant not as enjoyable as hoped

Firstly when I used the shower the water didn't drain out, so had to remove the soakaway to find lots of gunk and hair which was blocking it. Gross. Later when using the toilet the toilet seemed blocked and had to be assisted. Also when using the washing machine all the waste was gurgling so loud could hardly hear to talk. There are definitely plumbing issues. The top of the shower head was just manky too. When we went outside we found that the waste drain had overflowed and flooded into the patio. The light sensor in the bathroom meant that as soon as you went in the shower cubical the sensor couldn't pick up movement and the lights went off and left you in darkness. The TV had Ariel and connection issues, so we were unable to watch TV, the internet channels wouldn't even connect and even the terrestrial channels where scrambled and unwatchable. Used the oven to cook, of which the trays were dirty and had to be cleaned first. Then the oven cooked so unevenly that the food was uncooked and cold in some places and burnt in others. Not sure if this is a fan issue. We could have reported these problems at the time and I'm sure they would have been looked at, but because our stay was to be a short one and our time was precious, (as my partner and I live and work far from each other and don't get to meet often), we were looking to just relax in front of the TV and watch the football, (!!!!!!) and we therefore did not want the intrusion.

Clean and well equipped. As shown in advertisement pictures (except 3 below).

1) Sensor controlling bathroom lights is very unreliable. A switch would be so much better! 2) No off-street parking. 3) Outside area is on street-side. Not private.

Location was perfect for what we wanted it for and it was so clean, the decor was thoughtfully put together and the hosts were on site to give us a walk through of the flat so we'd know what to expect from our stay. The bed was super comfortable, the tv was great fun to watch a film on and the little details from the milk left in the fridge to the colour scheme throughout made our stay very enjoyable. Superb quality finish, fixtures& fittings. Everything provided for a comfortable stay. highest level of cleanliness. just luxurious. Great location with short stroll to beach and great walks east and west. great to have outdoor seating/eating option.

absolutely nothing not to like. some may be surprised by proximity of rail line but we enjoyed it and wasn’t disturbed at all.
