"Locked out with no instructions, left on the side of the road for 3-hours after a 3-hour drive, host wouldn’t answer pho"

Nothing- we were abandoned by our host and didn’t even get to go inside. Extremely unfortunate. We are beyond dissatisfied with our experience.

The host did not provide any instructions on how to enter the property and we were stuck outside for three hours. We attempted to contact the host for instructions multiple times but they would not answer. We had to talk to four different booking.com representatives before they could relocate us to a different hotel. The booking.com reps couldn’t even contact the host. This is truly unacceptable. It’s as if the host didn’t expect us and we were ignored. The property even has a no cancellation policy which is insane because we were literally ignored and left at the side of the road for three hours, forcing us to find a new hotel around 8pm on Sunday evening. I was looking forward to this trip for my birthday，and my mother was visiting from another country. I wanted to show her how wonderful montauk was but all we got was a ruined one-night stay filled with stress and suffering. This host should be reported and reprimanded as they are clearly running a scam. They took our money and did not tell us what unit to enter or provide a door code. They didn’t even answer 3-hours worth of emails and phone calls. This is unacceptable. No one should experience this and I hope no one stays here in the future. We drove 3 hours for misery.

I liked that the appliances and space were all updated.

You cannot reach anyone at the hotel's line ever. The hotel did not tell me which room was mine or the code to enter. We sat outside for 2 hours trying to get in touch with someone and get the information to enter. There were lots of bugs in the space and a coating of dust on the tables. We left something behind accidentally and it took three weeks to sort out.
