It would be helpful if there was a covered area to be outside. Would be nice if the linen in the single room were also pure cotton. (Main bedroom had pure cotton).

Loved the little pool and the overall facilities including how we could braai & have our toddler nearby. It was very gracious to have a bottle of wine and a snack upon arrival, my wife loved the gesture. Was a really great getaway for 1 night. We will definitely rebook and loved the entire stay including the air conditioning since we visited in Summer.

We were extremely annoyed by the opposite neighbors who constantly came to their patio throughout our stay including while we were in the pool and began to braai which basically gave us no privacy. This includes going to the local spar and returning with groceries, it made our little family feel quite uneasy with no privacy. We understand that this is beyond the host control and outside of their limitations. Perhaps a privacy shade infront could help for future stays, we loved it regardless and enjoyed our stay despite of. this

The little touches like the dried fruit, the sourdough bread and the wine. The shower was a 10/10. Cooling off in the pool was so relaxing.

The kitchen needs a bit of sprucing up. The back room with two single beds was rather hot at night.

@Oudam is a real gem situated in a quiet part of Montagu. Checking in was so easy and we were welcomed to a great bottle of wine, a fresh bread and lovely local snacks. Our 4 year old son enjoyed the open space and fully utilised the splash pool, which was so needed to cool down. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest.
