The hosts lied to us about being able to swim in the water in front of the property, the neighbouring houses let out sewage and there was human shit floating past us multiple times every day. We specifically asked if it was safe and they said yes, even though they knew that my wife is pregnant.

Amazing location. Right in the old town and on the water. Old bones but refreshed inside, great finishes! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Nothing. You know what you are getting into staying in the old town and an old house, but it adds to the charm.

The location is excellent. This historic building in the historic pedestrian section of town and is very tastefully and beautifully restored. Outside the lowest level of the apartment is a patio, which is large enough for the six of us to comfortably relax and is about 3 feet above water level. From there you can watch the comings and goings of the harbor.

The master bedroom, which is the top of the four floors, is by far the largest and most beautiful bedroom. The top floor is a converted attic, and the vaulted ceiling is very low. The peak of the ceiling is about 6 feet (2 m) above the floor, and the ceiling slopes downward to the perimeter walls where it is about 3 feet (1 m) above the floor. The exposed rafter beams are very easy to bang your head on, unless you are constantly vigilant. I am 5' 8" tall and wasn't always as vigilant during our one week visit as I needed to be, so I banged my head many times. Even my wife, who is 5' 4" tall, banged her head, although less often. Do not underestimate how unpleasant this is.

Absolutely stunning house in a dream location. It's beautiful and spacious and having your own terrace to go for swims is lush. The house comes with free paddle board that we used every day.

The only feedback i have is there wasn't matching wine glasses for everyone. There were only three of each glass (i think this is due to them having been broken at some point). It would be nice to have few more similar glasses especially when the kitchen is well equipped for cooking for a group.

The property is in a fantastic location on the water and in easy reach of market shops and restaurants Rovinj has it all for an enjoyable holiday with friends and family

The steps into the water need some attention, as the bottom two are quite uneven which prevented 2 guests from entering the water comfortably, which was the main reason for booking the property

The location was out of this world . Absolutely loved it. Decor 10/10. Kitchen well equipped

The only off putting thing was there was poop floating in front of the house at various times . Not sure if it’s from houses up the way or boats
