The most charming country cottage, beautifully decorated, and located in the quiet countryside, yet so close to Schull as well. We loved the private garden we had, and it was perfect for our dogs to run around. Full kitchen facilities, and so handy to have laundry facilities too! It was literally part of the original home, not built on as a guest house or anything, so it was warm and cosy and very charming.

Such a cute yet spacious cottage! Like straight from a movie! Super cozy. We loved the remote, rural location. However, it’s just a couple of minutes drive from Schull. Stephanie, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend!

A cosy, beautiful and very Irish cottage in a beautiful part of Ireland. Easily accessible to the wild Atlantic way coast.

Ancaire cottage is full of character, comfortable and homely. homely. Stephanie is a warm and welcoming host who went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

Nothing negative to report

The accommodation was beyond our expectations. We each had our dogs (3), and they had a wonderful time, too. They were safe to run free in the lovely, enclosed private garden. The walk to the ocean is only 20 mins down the road. Even though it was raining, it didn't take away from the experience, and the scenery was stunning. Stephanie, our host, met us to hand over the keys and gave us our space during our stay, but was also available if we needed anything. She was generous with wood for the fire and had made the cottage cosy for us on arrival. We loved it here and will be back again. Thank you, Stephanie!
