La perla della Conca d'Oro

Wonderfully furnished and perfectly equipped house with great hospitable and caring hosts. Nice hideaway, very warm and personal atmosphere. Emy and Giusy were giving us a lot of tips and were always available.

We really liked the outdoor kitchen setting. Emanuele was also very accommodating, helpful and generous. We arrived in Palermo after a strenuous 7 hour drive from Taormina because of fires. Emanuele supported us by giving us alternative directions to avoid the road blocks. The place was perfect for us to recuperate after the ordeal.

Nothing at all! Everything was superb. I suppose the streets are narrow and winding leading into the accommodation but most of Palermo is like that. We're two girls and we drove a Ford Puma. We survived so it's definitely doable.

Very friendly hosts, very clean apartment, quiet location.

Hosts were nice and were helpful with ideas for how to get into town to see Palermo. Location was quiet but not far from a convenient bus stop to get downtown to the walking areas. There was a nice outdoor eating area. Sleeping rooms and bathroom were comfortable. There was at least one restuarant and one grocery store within 1.5 km of the apartment. We were able to walk but the roads had no sidewalks.

Wish I would have known how tight the roads were to get to the apartment. Our crossover vehicle was almost too big to drive down there. It was not impossible but not expecting the small roads caused some stress. There was no indoor kitchen. The outdoor kitchen was nice but if weather had not been good we would not have had access to a kitchen. The "dining" area inside was very small.
