Maison du Lac

An incredible location right on the lake. The garden and parking were a fantastic addition as we were travelling with our dog. Breathtaking and unique short stay. We would return.

A little tricky to find the gate entrance on the main road but the management staff gave very informative short video to help us locate the property.

Being right on the lake with private parking and a short walk to Baveno. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable for 2 people. The views over the lake were amazing and being able to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance.

Only a very small issue was getting in and out of the property as it was right on a bend with limited view of oncoming traffic. But with a little planning this is easily overcome.

Getting the keys and instructions from the property manager in Stresa, where the property was supposed to be located, was impossible on the first night. We arrived at their office by taxi from Milan. The office was closed. The keys were not available. After repeated attempts to call and e-mail the site managers, there was no response and we had to arrange for another hotel the first night.
