The cottage had everything we needed. Tastefully decorated with a touch of the old. Felt like home and close to town and 😊

Breakfast cereals in glass or ceramic storage containers would look nicer.

Overall. very much prepared for the guests coming. I felt it was quite considerate. And the location is good enough. Thanks.

I saw a sign indicating that the house is on the market. So, I am curious what will happen for the future. Hope it will remain as it is even after the ownership is changed.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was cozy, and definitely felt at home. The place was nice and private and so peaceful, with a good view of Kuranui Bay. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice weekend visit to Thames.

This is one of the best kept secrets ever in the area. It was our second time. Utter decadence. A gift, in an accommodation sense. Why anyone would stay anywhere else, I have no idea. It's not just a home away from home to me. I'm an older mum of 57, of a lovely, sometimes irritating 11yo son. I am the non-custodial parent. This is better than any home. I've yet to use the bath. A giant would swim in the bath. Sadly only got to use the spa pool once. It was raining...most places in NZ at the time. The lady who offers this beautiful place for accommodation could charge HEAPS. 3 times more at an instinctive guess. But doesn't. You walk in, and can cook, do laundry, etc. Best home. Gorgeous views. Fully stocked as stated, and beyond. Lovely accessibility to Thames and beyond. Just a gem of a place. My son, on coming in after dark on our recent trip, and me turning lights on...was searching for and worried about the 'amber'. He then found it when all the lights went on. Someone told me, from a pic, it was Kauri gum. These hosts trust. And give above and beyond. Beautiful property and hosts.
