Taigh Mhuirne

Absolutely ideal holiday home, our 4 year old was delighted with the play park across the road! Handy for getting into Portree and easy parking. Nice house with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Plan to be back next year!

no toothpaste? thought that was included in toiletries.

The location was great! It was easy to access the property, and the furnishings were nice.

There was no booklet at the property or information sheet provided to tell us about the property. We didn’t know how to access the dryer or that it was located in the garage until the end of our stay, and the host wasn’t really responsive. The kitchen could use some new cookware. There was mostly scratched Teflon pans and no measuring cups/spoons.

It was very nice to have a home with a kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine and dryer, especially after hiking and taking walks on the Isle of Skye. We loved the location and walked to the CharGrill restaurant one night. Also, the bottle of wine that was left was a very nice touch!

Our Host - Kat McPherson - was INCREDIBLE. She helped us navigate all sorts of challenges locally, including restaurant unavailability, a flat tire, etc!

It would have been delightful had there been a clothing dryer, or if the twin bedroom beds were a little less uncomfy, but otherwise the place was wonderful.

This is the house suitable for family or larger group. Convenient location to access by car or even to go to the city centre by foot in 10-15 min. We loved staying in this place. It's not a new one, but clean and fully equipped. Kitchen and living room is spacious and has all the needed amenities to use. Comfortable beds in sleeping room. Key-locker available at arrival anytime. Very beneficial for the longer stay.

Roomy, quiet.

Comfortable. Well set up for group. Spacious rooms. And a nice backyard for extra bonus. Location was perfect as it was close to downtown and a grocery store.

Would be nice to have a hairdryer on the property.
