Il Profumo dei Fiori

I left a dark gloomy room in Atrani and booked this room on a whim for my birthday when my travel partner had to return home for a family emergency. My host went above and beyond to make my birthday special with a homemade cake and flowers from her garden as the church bells rang. I had an incredible fish lunch at Cafe Saghir , walked around town, and relaxed with a book on this lovely patio. The internet connection was great and I was able to follow my daughter as she completed a marathon in Copenhagen. It was a magical few days that I had been dreading and it gave me the strength to continue my travels through Italy as a solo traveler for the first time ever.

Everything worked perfectly including the coffee maker and internet which I had trouble with in other stays on the Amalfi coast.

The space in the apartment was great. There was a beautiful balcony that had water views and fully functioning kitchen that was great.

The mattress on the bed was too thin, we could feel the timber slats underneath. The pillows were too firm and there were no other softer options in a cupboard. The shower pressure was very low too.

Everything was perfect! The most beautiful place on Earth!

All the rooms have a view and it is spectacular. Adriana went out of her way to make many arrangements for us. She is efficient and knowledgeable. The apartment is spacious and charming and rustic. Very convenient to the bus, small market, and cafes.

70 steps to reach the door, but hey, that’s why you have a great view. The building is high up. The bell tower chimes every 15 minutes! 😳

The view was phenomenal and our host was so welcoming - she even brought me some hand picked flowers for my birthday. We loved the quiet, not so touristy atmosphere here yet there are good restaurants and food options within walking distance. Bed was comfy.

Lots of stairs to get to the apartment but that is clearly mentioned so no surprise. There is another room right next door and you share the deck - but it does have a privacy screen and wasn't a problem at all for us.

The location of this property was absolutely perfect and our time in Praiano was made unforgettable because of it! The town lies right in between Amalfi and Positano and is a hidden gem in itself - the locals are so welcoming and the busses are very frequent. Adriana was so helpful and accommodating in recommending things to do, answering any questions we had and giving fast responses - she is lovely! To wake up to the stunning view every morning was amazing and the air con was a lifesaver as well. Thank you Adriana for giving us the opportunity to stay in this very special place, would highly recommend!
