Casa Francisca

Francesco (owner),met us on arrival. He was very nice and we had his contact the entire time for questions and he answered us when we sent him messages. They had porters to carry our luggage to the home; we could not have easily done this at all without them. Will explain more later about this. Fully stocked kitchen with coffee (no filters) and a nice bottle of champagne to welcome us. Place was clean. The view was stunning of the coast. Cute deck (upper and lower), yard and a small pool, which was lovely and beautiful. Small store at the bottom of the hill, not to far, if you needed. Also, a restaurant close by to walk to.You could walk down (many steps) about 150, to the the bus which was great. Coming back you needed to walk up them. We did hire a driver to take us from Praiano to Naples to get a train to Florence.

Many, many steps to get in and out of this beautiful home. Praiano is extremely hilly no matter where you go, so be prepared for that; especially if you plan on walking everywhere. Taxi's not so easy to get. Bus system ok, but it was crowded, you have to wait a bit and if the bus is full then you had to wait for the next one. No Ubers here. We needed an early check out, so there was an additional charge per bag ($15), and 40$ for that early check out. We could not have carried our luggage in or out of this place; so the porters were amazing!

Lovely characterful , comfortable , spacious with a well equipped kitchen, great air conditioning. Fantastic views from terrace, great sunshaded patio area for meals. Comfortable sun loungers and a jacuzzi which accommodated four. Francesco was very helpful on arrival and on departure. Porters were provided to carry our cases to the property.

The property itself was beautiful, a pool rather than jacuzzi would have been preferred. Be prepared for a steep climb up many stone steps from the parking area to the property and generally negotiating the area around the property as the village is built on a mountainside as is typical of the Amalfi coast. Be prepared for mosquitoes.

Location is amazing even though a lot of stairs, it is part of experience and probably for old people would not be a good option. Nevertheless all has been perfect!

Parking is not good , a little bit dangerous because is on the road...

We loved the view and space that was provided during our stay. It was a stair climb no matter where you went but the Italian food made it worth it :) It was quite and peaceful compared to the rest of Amalfi which is exactly what we were craving!

The main bedroom with the view had a terribly hard bed and the large tub didn't have a proper drain stopper to enjoy it. Other than that we really enjoyed our time.

this was absolutely one of my most favorite places I have ever stayed. The host Francesco was the best! The character, Design, and love that they put into the special home really makes this stay perfect. the view and location was incredible!!!

Praiano is a beautiful place and the view from the property is amazing. The house is very clean and the atmosphere with the decorations is very special and friendly. Francesco is a great host. We got memorable moments in this wonderful place.
