"Classic modest Douro valley mini apartment. Max terrace."

A little hideaway beneath an old house on a hillside of vineyards. Open plan with bedrooms, living room, kitchenette open together. Lovely big vine covered terrace & bbq. Stay as long as you can! River beach Puerto del Rey lovely swim or canoe. 4 km downhill, cafe in summer.

Very cosy & cool. Hidden away. Booking map location misleading. Landlady put up signs to entrance up road left & left. Down little track Parking outside. Well worth visit! Stay as long as you can!

Beautiful location! Calm and tranquil place located atop a mountain that overlooks the valley. Things are close, small town, gas station and river, each less than 15 minutes driving.

Please keep an eye on the road driving into the place. It's very narrow and uneven. I threw out my muffler by scraping on the dramatically uneven road. Jaja. Great experience to be honest.

Beautiful old stone house In nature Great views Very homely Fresh fruit and cake left for us along with some port wine

The fridge made a very loud noise The communication was not good and arrival was quite confusing The house is split into a few separate apartments, this particular one is quite dark with only two windows on the front door
