This place was pretty amazing.....perfect for a large family....2 families or just a group of friends. Just far enough out of town to still be close 😊......I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who is still thinking about it 😊.

"If you are looking for some peace away from others, this is the place for you."

The peace, the view, the space, no neighbours within view, the homely lodge, everything really. The host saw we had teenagers so left some sporting equipment out of them. The little beach down the end of the back yard is the perfect place to go for a kayak or sit with a bottle of Pinot from the local Rippon Vineyard. If it's your thing, I highly recommend the nearby Glendhu Mountain Bike Tracks. Actually both those things on the same day make for interesting biking.

"It's heaven."

The setting is truly awe-inspiring. It is an easy drive from town but a world away. The lodge itself is warm, beautifully crafted and unpretentious, with generous communal spaces and cosy bedrooms. Outside, the large lawn, quaint path to the beach and kayaks offer endless simple activities to soak up the beauty of where you are. For a family to escape and feel free, it's perfect.
