Annandale Lodge

The property was in a great location for us, being close to other family staying nearby and also close to the town. But if walking steep hills is too hard for you, the walk will take a bit longer. The bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable, and the bathrooms (and all other spaces) were clean, spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is the best set up I've seen in a rental. I like the eco friendly products supplied and all instructions were clear. There are leisure options provided including spa, table tennis and board games.

Power points in the kitchen were a little short on supply. But we did find the discreetly located island points.

Great house with a lovely spa pool. Convenient location. House had everything we needed. Lots of games for the family to enjoy. Great hosts and clear communication.

Everything, very well equipped, excellent location. The staff managing the property were excellent! Super friendly and prompt replies and fast to get on to issues.

Only small things, large pot for cooking for groups and door handles breaking or starting to break. However this was handle very quickly by staff.

A lovely property, with super comfy beds and a spacious living area. Easy walk into town but keep in mind it's uphill on the way back! Hot tub was a welcome treat after a day's hiking.

Be aware that right behind the property, in the space that was probably once the garden, trailers, floats and caravans are stored. This wasn't a problem per se, we only noticed 1 person come to collect their trailer whilst there, but it would have been nice to know about this arrangement prior to booking. Also, some of the cutlery and crockery needed a wash before using, but the rest of the property (bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.) was spotless.

If I had to be critical parking was a little difficult for two 4x4 as the driveway needed to be clear for rear access

Location was perfect, a great cafe around the corner, stunning mountain views and a step back from the main streets which is my preference. Warm, comfortable, lots of spare towels and a well stocked kitchen and funtionally stocked pantry. Management were super quick to respond and very helpful. Would give 10 stars if I could and definitely returning.

Nothing. Well, a cat was hanging around and acting pathetic and we felt bad not letting it in but it didn't belong to the owners!

Location was close to town, house was large and modern. Suitable for large groups. Beds were comfy, and the house had plenty of space to relax.

It was hot with the sun coming in the afternoons and when we left the doors open for breeze a bunch of bugs came in because there were no fly screens.
