This is a perfect place to stay. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and very clean. I couldn't fault it in any way. The owners are lovely, and because things went wrong for us, they left the lights on and the door unlocked, so we could easily get in late at night in the pouring rain. The scones and jam were a lovely extra touch, and much appreciated, thank you.

I cannot fault this property in any way. They have done a lovely job, and it's all furnished to a high standard. The only suggestion I could make was perhaps they could look at raising the mirror in the main bedroom...I had to keep squatting to blow dry my hair, and I'm only 5ft tall!

The barn was beautifully furnished, well equipped and immaculately clean. We felt so welcome as soon as we arrived. Our hosts kindly left us some wonderful treats and supplies that we hadn’t been expecting but thoroughly enjoyed. The location is very peaceful but only a short drive from amenities. We had other family members staying in Shippon Barn next door, which was ideal as it enabled a lovely family get together where we had our own space but could enjoy the outdoor seating areas together.

Location was down a very quiet country lane, it was lovely to find scones, jam, cream, cereal, milk etc all waiting for us on arrival. The venue was good for seeing the local area with good run and cycle routes from the door.

It was all lovely. The narrow lane might put some people off and not for you if you want shops etc in near access.

This is really minor. But a king size bed. And a sports channel on tv

We absolutely loved the open plan living space, so nice to cook and all sit in the same room together while doing usual kitchen tasks! I loved how warm and cosy the barn was, lovely decor and just very well thought out. The kitchen was very well equipped there was nothing missing. The small paddock was perfect for taking the dog out for the toilet but also a great enclosed space attached to the barn for sitting out in the sun, which we did have in February!! We walked to the pub in Mudford which was down a quiet lane, then onto a busy road which is mostly paved apart from one section where you walk along a wide grass verge, so ok with older children. There is a longer walk into the village but again along lanes with no pavements but pretty quiet and once you get into mudford it’s all paved. Lovely hosts and thank you for the cream teas much enjoyed by all!
