"Quiet rural cozy central location for seeing Peak District"

A beautiful cottage in a quiet location, but within easy access of places to visit. It was spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Two bathrooms, one on each level was very useful. It had the added benefit of its own private garden with a table and chairs. The hosts were welcoming and helpful.

The windows in the twin bedroom didn’t open.

"Lovely Stay"

Location was excellent as we were going to Chatsworth House for the Christmas Markets. Surrounded by farms and fields though 5 min drive to local pub that served fabulous food (ate there twice!). Acorn Cottage had everything, really well thought out, felt like a home from home. Veronica and Jo left us some local produce from their farm, including sausages, which were delicious! Clear instructions in the house, clear directions and responsive to queries - thank you! We all enjoyed our stay, wonderful!

"Wonderful break couldn't have chosen better."

Location good easy access to various attractions. Jo and Veronica were best hosts we have ever come across very helpful, responsed to any query immediately and plenty of advice. Husband struggled with stairs offered to arrange to put a single bed downstairs but had to decline as he couldn't be left on his own.

Acorn Cottage is in a lovely quiet location but really close to attractions and facilities. The accommodation is beautifully presented with real attention to detail and the homemade goodies were very welcome and delicious! Thank you Jo and Veronica for such a lovely stay.
