Cheerful 4-bedroom home with fireplace, 1,5km from Flåm center

Clean, great location

Sparse amenities ie not even one towel per person

The house has several good points, including house is quiet and clean, location is convenient, having several rooms and spaces are big, the kitchen supplies are sufficient, shower water is strong enough, having free parking space beside the house.

Big space, walking distance to town and waterfall.

- this home is huge, lots of space including a downstairs with kitchen, livingroom, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms - has an upstairs with multiple rooms and a bathroom (which we didnt even need) - the location is perfect, very close to town and all the fun things to do

- the keys to lock the main door were finicky. we actually could not get the door to lock and left it unlocked because we were afraid we were going to get locked out from the outside. we could lock the door from the inside but it was very difficult from the outside - the other downside, which I probably would have booked a different place is that there is an apartment on the top of the house that is also rented(?) out. We thought we booked the entire home for ourselves, but another car pulled into the driveway and went up the staircase on the side of the home.. looked like we booked one part of the home and they booked another section of the home. There was no way for that group to access our side of the home but just different from our expectations as we were traveling with a child and safety was our priority.

The heated kitchen and bathroom floors were a delightful surprise for us. The house was very conveniently located to town. The waterfall was amazing to listen to.

The stay was awesome — we especially loved the view from the house. It was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and just an excellent place to relax. Would definitely recommend 😊

Great location with awesome views. Close enough to Flam to walk to the ferry. The house is big and comfortable with everything you need to have a good stay.

An abode where tranquility and serenity intertwined. Highly recommended although it is not located at Flam as the facilties were immense for my family. It was just good for a morning/evening walk to/fro Flam. Fret not about the train as (Lunden, where the house is located) you can tell the train operator you want to stop here and later after checking out you just wait at Lunden train track/visible to the train operator. And most importantly it was just 1-2 mins walk from the house.
