Joy was amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. Every single one of us enjoyed the property and the younger ones didn’t want to leave!

The Landlady kept in touch and responded to problems very quickly. The garden beyond the backyard was bright and had a sitting area in the sunshine. with the park trees just the other side of the wall. The rooms were well furnished. There was a nice welcome basket and some basic food items in the fridge and cupboard. Free parking, even though it was on the opposite side of the road to the house. The Wifi signal was good. Being in a City, the Deliveroo options were many and varied. The beds were comfy. The heating works well since the very kind and expert neighbour came round to fix it.

The under sheets and mattress protectors could do with a change. The blinds need to be mended. The Landlady said there is a long list of things that need her attention. One very small third bedroom with the water storage tank in a cupboard. The tank made loud noises whenever water was run, which disturbed the sleep of the occupant of the bedroom. The Oil fired central heating didn't work when we got there, but only took about 4 hours for it to be fixed, by a very kind, practical neighbour. The instructions about household matters including water heating and rubbish dispsal need to be more detailed The immediate backyard is a bit bare and grim, and the door in the wall not obviously openable.

Our host was so thoughtful with a lovely goodie basket when we got there. Very committed to making our stay enjoyable. Went above and beyond for us.

The keys were in a key pad just outside the door. The host sent us the code and we had instant access to the property.

My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights for a reunion and we had a great stay. The house is large, clean and comfy and Joy is a great host who was on hand by phone to help with any questions. The bedrooms were clean and beds super comfy. Joy also supplied all the little things which made the difference for us - milk, bread, toiletries etc.. The back yard was also a perfect little sun trap!
