At first no tv as we had grandkids with us but got used to it and had lots of fun playing games whilst in cottage No oven in cottage but fabians allowed us to use his oven

The house owner Fabien is a great guy. This is our first time coming to this island so we didn't prepared that well. Fabien is helpful and he helped us a lot. He is always kind and patient. We had a good time there.

I spoke with the owner when he stopped in to introduce himself. I told him it was uncomfortably cold - although he turned up the settings, the portable heater was an inadequate heat source. The coal stove was not accessible as a heat source as the owner never came back to show me how to use it (as I requested because he lived next door). There was no printed info or direction for any of the appliances. The refrigerator and microwave were dirty. The frying pan was soiled with cooking grease. I slept in my clothes and coat to stay warm. I left a note for the owner (as he was gone in the morning) letting him know I was leaving due to the condition of the rental being unacceptable. I sent an email to the Bookings Customer Service dept requesting a refund for the remaining three nights. I have not received a reply from either the owner or Bookings. This was a self-catering unit and no breakfast was expected. Sadly I would never recommend this establishment to anyone.
