We stayed here during our vacation, and we absolutely loved it! Giovanni, the host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The view was breathtaking, and the location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay in Giovanni’s delightful terraced house. The location is great, about 10 minutes walk from Bellano, which is a gorgeous village that has a more relaxed vibe than the other Como spots. The house has gorgeous views, is so quaint, very comfortable bed, great shower, and cute kitchen that has everything you need to cook if you feel like it. But the highlight is the welcome by Giovanni and the amazing spritz and nibbles to begin your stay. We were so blown away by his generosity and the extra mile he goes to. Our only regret was that we needed to cut our trip a bit shorter than planned and could not have stayed for longer. Hopefully we will be back some time soon. Thanks Giovanni :)

Giovanni is such a fantastic host. The apartment is lovely, quaint, and has a lot of original features. Two terraces with lake views. Capsule coffee machine was appreciated. Very close to town, less than 5 .minute walk.

Nothing, we love unique places.

We stayed 4 nights at the house. The house is of an old Italian style. The bedroom is large with a comfortable bed. The location in Bellano was excellent, just 5 minutes walk from the town. The town is quite charming with plenty of restaurants to choose from. We visited Bellagio and Menaggio but preferred Bellano as it is much less crowded. We have a large 4x4 car and there was plenty of room to park in a secure car park at the house. The view from both the balconies was amazing. Fantastic large balcony too! The host Giovanni is very helpful about the area and gave us a lovely welcome drink on our arrival. He is always available to help if needed and we enjoyed our stay😊

The bathroom needs updating and the shower made bigger. My husband is tall and struggled to use the shower because it is so small and it is in an old bath. This property would be no good if you are old or infirm as you would not be able to get into the shower . Also it has lots of steps to get to the property. The kitchen maybe could do with updating too as the equipment is very old and was just about adequate. It was fine for the 4 days we stayed there but the bathroom and kitchen are not good enough for a longer stay.

Giovanni is an amazing host. He is so friendly, the location of the house is amazing. We would definitely recommend this place. Tip: try Giovanni’s Limoncello Spritz :)

The view from this property is exceptional. There are two terraces that you can use - both with beautiful views of the lake and the sun is on them all day. The property is accessed through a secure electric gate which makes you feel very safe. It is so well situated as there is access to a beach straight across the road and only a short walk to restaurants, ferries and train station.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property. The bath was a little bit awkward to get in - maybe a problem to older people.

Our host was fantastic! A great communicator! He is a professional chef and offered a dinner for guests one night of our stay on the terrace of his home which was great. He drove us around in his '73 VW bug convertible bug to give us an overview of the surrounding area which was beyond our expectations. We even played tennis one day with him and some of his friends on a nearby court. We were able to wash clothes which was so helpful on our 30 day European driving trip. Parking was available on site which was secure. This was a big advantage in such a small town. Bellano has a beautiful public pool with a beach, restaurant, and marina. The downtown had several restaurants and was not overrun by tourists. This accomodation (Suite castle #3) was in a great location, walking distance (flat) into town, and had beautiful views. #3 is appropriate for 2 adults who can handle steps. The AC upstairs just outside the bedroom is good for hot days. There are other accomodations on sight for a larger group.

View from terrace is great and little Garden is beautiful. and Giovanni is an incredible host - contact with him is very good and he is very helpful in how to spend some nice moments in Bellano (and Varrenna)
