The location of the house, is very near the city center. I really liked the view and the bedrooms, they are amazing. I thought the sheets was very very clean and the house was clean as well. The host was very friendly and I hope to go there once again! My friends loved it!

Since they weren't offering heating system it felt a little bit colder, but nothing that you couldn't manage, we were in the beggining of spring, altought, we spend all in house time with comfy winter cloths, which was fine!

"Freezing cold place, cheap owner, decent location"

2.0

The house is decent overall for an old place with somewhat central location. It is close to the local church, with bells ringing every half an hour. Short distance down the stairs to city hall. 5 bedrooms, a small living / dining / kitchen room. 2 bathrooms at the next level (we would call it second level). Running cold and hot water - but need to wait a couple of minutes for hot water. Water temperature varies during the shower, nothing unusual for this type of dwelling.

Biggest issue worth mentioning is heating. The house is old with thick stone walls. It is always cold. Heating is provided through electric radiators plugged in. All of them are on a fuse that is timed to be on only from 5pm to midnight and 7am to 10am. That is 10 hours out of 24. As soon as they're off, the radiators get cold within 6-7 minutes. The temperature drops to extreme lows, particularly at night time when the temperature outside is -1 to 0 C, basically 30 to 32 F. The inside temperature is unbearable, seems to violate the Geneva convention for treating war refugees. We gave the owner repeated opportunities to fix the problem. At some point her husband showed up and claimed to change the timer settings, but that did not happen. Needless to say, the fuses and breakers were in a locked wall cabinet. I'm not saying go by my words, give it a try if you are intrigued, but just be ready with backup heating plans. Perhaps bring your own portable heaters or battery heated clothes.
