I loved the master bedroom, also the secure garden area for my dogs

The tv stopped working after a day in the main living room. We managed to still have a nice time but would have preferred to have been able to watch a film or two.

Fantastic location for exploring the Yorkshire moors, Whitby, Robinhoods bay, Saltburn, Staithes and much more. Local shops and a great pub the Queens arms for food.

On a busy bank holiday catch the number 4x outside Queens arms to Sandburn as parking can be a nightmare and just a twenty min bus journey. The cottage was very practical for a family being open plan and grandparents could escape upstairs for quiet time ;). The welcome pack was great and to just get that first cup of tea whilst sorting out was fab. The Host Charlie was available when we text her and super prompt actioning a new tin opener.

The Host sorted the settee leg that needed re screwing, I would say to the owners a new settee is required, one that is more robust for families, as you do need three people to sit on it with being a 3 bedroom cottage. Report any issues as sometimes the cleaner may not pick up on any snags. We would book again if in the area as we came up for a wedding.

Stayed 2 yrs ago for family holiday & same this time. Very good layout clean

Minor issues please check cutlery only 6 forks & few spare would be useful or tongs for cooking/grilling. Prefer liquid hand soap than small bar soap. No basic kitchen roll or cling film & some airtight containers for storage

Very clean, great amenities, everything you need for a great stay. Really good layout and peaceful location. Great base for exploring the coast Would return

Dark towels would have been better, as white is not the best colour with a family and teenagers! Bedrooms very light, eyemasks needed!
