"WARNING: CONSTRUCTION SITE"

The house is beautiful and has amazing views, fully equipped

There are 2 houses being build in front of this house and the host only tells you about it on your day of arrival. Loud noise from 8am to 6pm all day long. Really ruined our quiet holiday where we wanted to sleep in and take naps during the day. Construction on the second house just started and will continue until April 2024.

"simply amazing"

the property is located in calheta 40 minutes drive from Funchal. it’s a big beautiful family home with a super fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room, toilet and utility downstairs. in he first floor there are 3 big double bedrooms with king-size bed (one with en-suite) and a big toilet. outside there is a great big swimming pool with fantastic view straight to the ocean! amazing!!! next to the swimming pool there is an hot external shower, bbq, table, chairs, parasol etc that made our holiday even better. the property is provided with lots of towels and wi-Fi with a new tv with Netflix, YouTube etc. Bars and shops are only few minutes walk. The communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely rebook it again next year. Madeira is a paradise with so many activities to do! we enjoyed every moment! thank you

personally I found the bed a bit hard but the rest of my family slept very well. swimming pool water was a bit cold (we were there in the beginning of April). Car is needed but not a problem for us.
