Great quiet location, spacious accommodation, really well equipped and fabulous villa owner whom couldn’t have been more helpful

Light airy spacious, comfy beds, everything worked well appointed, lovely pool & views of sea

Bit echo’y but only because it’s all tiles no carpets as you’d expect in a hot country.

The property

1.Some construction noise and smell from the houses arround the villa. 2. Lack of basic table consumables (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar )

The Blue Pearl Villa ! This holiday home ticked all of the boxes for us from the start, such a spacious house, wonderfully clean, electric gated off street parking, everything we needed, towels in abundance, at the comfortably warmer end of the island, great pool and sun loungers, most stunning view, beautiful sunsets. Supermarket/cafe/bakery literally 2 minutes walk, great location and lovely local restaurants, again only minutes away on foot, our hosts Francisco and Jessica were lovely pinging us messages here and there keeping us updated on local information/events seeing we were ok or needed anything, so glad we were there, so much so we are going back soon! Thank you Francisco and Jessica !

Amazing and cozy villa with all that you need in place. Pool a big bonus,we really enjoy it. Easy access,good communication with from the landlord.

The villa is placed is a small village with a very short walk to the pebbles beach. We enjoyed watching surfers on huge waves , which you can hear from the villa. The village has few restaurants one of which has excellent seafood at reasonable prices we visited twice.   There is lovely pool with about 22-23 degrees (early in April) and the pool and the terrace with loungers have sun from about 11 am until beautiful sunset you can experience every day. There is an outdoor BBQ place and all tools you would need to make it.  You have also option for indoor or outdoor dining. There is an electric gate to the drive where you can park.  A car is a must unless you do not plan exploring Madeira. The host has his own rental company but we already had our cars booked.   Francisco, the host, is a nice chap that tries his best to make your stay comfortable.   Inside villa you have a master bedroom with balcony overlooking the ocean and large bathroom with bath. Then second spacious double bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom/shower. Then you have two bedrooms, one twin and one double downstairs with one bathroom to share. Also there is large living room with TV including Netflix. Kitchen is spacious and includes oven, electric hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.  There is also coffee machine, toaster and all equipment really you probably need to cook even more sophisticated meal. We were even provided some dishwasher and washing tablets, washing up liquid, some tea and coffee pots, things like tin foil or wrapping paper, sandwich bags were also there. Possibly these are things left by previous guest.   We had a very comfortable stay at Blue Pearl Villa Paul.

A lot of driving. If you plan exploring Madeira you will be driving at least 1 h a day one way to get to places of interests. Of course roads are good and you will enjoy the views and plenty of miradors on your way.

Almost everything! Starting from the host - Ze was really helpful and met us on arrival, explaining everything regarding the villa. he helped us a lot and provided us with second set of keys that was much needed for 7 persons. The villa is amazing, with 3 bathrooms/toilets that were nice and clean and most of the bedrooms can have a bathroom on their own, plenty of hot water, the pool is a nice addition, the living room is nice and big, with good opening to enjoy the fresh air from outside, with big TV with Netflix, nice and big kitchen with everything needed, with private parking spot for one car. The location is amazing - you can enjoy the ocean from the balcony, car access is really easy, not much traffic on the street in front of the villa, within walking distance to the restaurants in the village, close to the main road by car. There are separate bathroom and pool towels that is an amazing addition, washing machine, BBQ and everything needed for a nice stay! Highly recommended. I would go back again for sure.

There is a nearby construction that can be a bit noisy occasionally (mainly if you decide to stay at the house during the day).

House is very comfortable and has everything what you need. Contact with owner is without problems. there is space for one car inside and second outside. Fantastic view for sunset.

It is one hour drive From Funchal. NOT Best place to drive around Island everyday. Power issues. We had problems with power. Two times went off. Finally owner cut the Air condition to avoid it which wasn’t correct. If he would inform us that we can’t use same time Air con and kitchen there wouldn’t be any problem..
