The washing machine was much appreciated, the view was phenomenal, the bed was comfortable and the apartment was close to everything. It was quiet and comfortable. Check-in was easy and done without contact with the host. Host realized that tea was running low so had some delivered before we even noticed. Host was very responsive and quick to reply. Great communication!

A clothes drying rack would have been helpful but not essential. As with many Italian historic centres, parking was a bit challenging, but also not a huge issue.

The place was exactly as pictured. A beautiful view, easy to get in to, so clean and warm and with great facilities. I can’t believe what we got for the money we payed, absolute bargain and would definitely recommend to others.

The location is top! There's a a window overlooking the city of Matera, absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful apartment in historic building with a great view over the city (especially at sunset through a French door at the foot of the bed). The apartment was clean and check in was very easy. The apartment is located a little to one side of the City, but is easy to reach from the train station, most sights are close, and importantly, the apartment is located at the same elevation as the primary piazzas and grocery stores in the historic center (climbing up and down through the town many times a day gets draining even for the fit!)
