"A lucky find in Cardiff"

It was a really nicely renovated place with lots of space and it was very quiet. We enjoyed having a functional kitchen and a washing machine/dryer combo. The beds were fairly comfy, and there was plenty of room for our family of 5 -- including two nice, renovated bathrooms with showers. The place was very clean; the cleaning lady lives next door and she was there to clean again just as we were leaving. The location is relatively close to a really nice pedestrian area of many restaurants and shops--a little bit of a walk but not too far (perhaps 10 mins). The neighborhood looked a little iffy at first, but we came to realize it wasn't bad and we felt safe in the house, while walking, and leaving our car (I didn't want to drive in Cardiff).

The only problem I had was that the code to get into the place wasn't working and so I had to meet someone to get in (and my U.S. phone wasn't connecting even though I had an international plan; that was the phone company's fault!). Once I got through, the gentleman was there quickly to let us in. The problem with the code was due to the Yale electronic door locking device no longer being able to update its software, and it had only become a problem. They were going to replace the lock and so it should no longer be an issue.

Good location for visiting central Cardiff and Bay area. Walking distance to the centre. Walking distance to Queen's station to get the train,short ride to the bay area.

Having to use an app to access a digital key to enter the property. Not easy for people who aren't tech savvy.
