The owner met us on arrival and had kindly added all amenities for my baby grandchild including cot / baby bath and high chair . Lovely location .

Slightly sluggish drains .. but minor problem

The kitchen would be improved with the provision of a toaster, the small oven was not really efficient for toasting bread.

There was no oven

Great staff, location close to everything that we were interested in, gorgeous garden, coffee machine.

We didn't open the windows often because the street was too loud, so it often became too hot inside (AC would be nice) and a bit smelly due to little ventilation.

The property managers were lovely, welcomed us and showed everything around, providing helpful tips and staying in contact. They recommended some restaurants and we tried a few; one local place became our favourite and we went there quite a few times. The garden surrounding the houses was big and lovely, we could freely spend time in it and use its facilities. We often relaxed in the evenings sitting on the porch, enjoying the nice weather and a glass of wine. The location is good, shops and restaurants and the bay area is just a walk away. The house was also well-equipped and cosy.

The busy street right next to the household is quite loud, it was fine in the house with closed windows but was pretty distracting while in the garden. The bed was quite uncomfortable, it squeaked a lot so whenever one person turned at night it woke the other up and we never really got a full night's sleep. I'd recommend to replace it, everything else in the house was great.

This was our second stay at this property, the first being in 2018. Came back again as we had a great stay the first time. Nice apartment with garden access. Washing machine in apartment was handy and proximity to Cascais centre are pluses.

Shower head. Can only shower using the handheld option as placing it in the holder will ensure that only the opposite wall will get washed.
