Cascade Creek Retreat - near Dunedin

A beautiful log cabin surrounded by hills and bush. Private, tranquil and what a bonus no wi-fi. We just loved it. The addition of two outdoor baths and a hammock positioned among the trees added to the experience. The majestic fire place in the log cabin also added to the ambience with plenty of firewood provided . A wonderful place to stay and the beds are so comfy too.

An amazing spot to go offline for a bit. Views forever changing and bird life outstanding.

Stunning location in the woods with extremely easy access, several sheep to pet. Plenty of wood to keep house a bit warmer, well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful sky view from baths.

This place was incredible. Comfy beds, beautiful facilities. We loved the outdoor bath and open fire! Lots of little things to make the stay more comfy such as cereals, yogurts, hot chocolate making station. We loved that fire wood was easily accessible too!

Loved all of it, just am absolutely amazing place to stay and would definitely come back if I visit NZ again.

Nothing, it was perfect

Location was sublime. No TV, no mobile phones, no people. Very very comfy and peaceful. If you want a bolthole from the world this is it.

We were off grid so did not get the email telling us where the key was until after we left. We had to search for it.
