Best Room To Visit NYC-Subway Access

The property is ideally situated near Penn Station Newark and other nearby shopping areas. Close to local NJ transit buses as well.

Had a little funky smell in the common areas, especially the kitchen and mini living room. I couldn’t understand why the property manager couldn’t apply some air freshener or something. The smell was just horrible in the common area. Everywhere else, perfect. Room and bathrooms smell great and were well maintained.

The property was at best mediocre surroundings were poor and a bit noisy.

When the arrived it was hard to find and once located they had me watch numerous YouTube how to videos, inside was very small and when I got into my room it was dirty and unclean, owner gave another room in which I could not get in because the door lock need new batteries and when I told the owner he insisted that the batteries did not need to be changed he sent over a staff person and he was very rude but needless to say after a hour of waiting for a battery change and clean room the place had no AC.

The location was the best thing about this accommodation, only 11 minutes to Newark Penn Station. When I was locked out of my room and unable to check in, the handy-man who came to help me was very kind and apologized for their mistake. He gave me a new room (but after an hour of waiting and trying to enter the original assigned room). His kindness went a long way!

The staff/owners here is extremely rude and lazy. The battery was dead on the keypad to the room they assigned me, meaning I could not enter the room. The staff told me I was typing the code in wrong, and did not believe me that the batteries needed to be changed. I waited for over an hour (being gaslit by the person messaging me on Booking) and wasn't let into my new room until after midnight. The number listed on Booking is not legitimate- an automated message plays saying the only way to contact them is via the Booking message feature. The location of the place itself is down a dark alley, which can be unsettling for a solo traveller at night. The walls of the house are extremely thin, I can hear every footstep, movement, and conversation of other guests here. I would never come back here.

Eveything in order and clean. The response of questions is very fast.
